'Grundsatzpapier der Demokraten' from the Parliamentary history exhibition of the German Bundestag, Deutscher Dom
Commemorates the meeting of the Baden Liberals which "must lead to results." "Every word that was spoken contained the basis and the motivation for effective action."
Demands include: "Restoration of our past constitution;" "We demand freedom from treachery; the inalienable right of the human spirit to share its thoughts must no longer be withheld from us;" and "We demand fair taxation."

Following the conferences in Baden and Vienna earlier in the century, the Liberals put forward in this document their demands for greater freedoms. It offers a telling indication of the liberalism at the heart of the Revolution, chiefly in the demands for enhanced individual rights.
